Thrive Build Group recognises that artificial intelligence can support productivity, research, analysis, communication and service delivery when used responsibly. Our use of AI is guided by the principles of human oversight, accountability, privacy, confidentiality, accuracy and transparency. AI supports our people and professional capability; it does not replace experience, judgement or responsibility for the services and advice we provide.
How We May Use AI
Preliminary research and analysis
Summarising information

Reviewing document structure and readability
Supporting process mapping and operational analysis
Developing preliminary frameworks, checklists and business tools
Improving administrative productivity
AI-generated material is treated as a working input and is reviewed by an appropriately experienced person before being relied upon or issued externally.
Human Oversight
Thrive remains accountable for its advice, services, communications and deliverables.AI is not used independently to:
Approve expenditure or commercial commitments
Make employment or personnel decisions
Determine contractual or legal obligations
Certify technical, safety, quality or compliance matters
Make decisions that materially affect an individual
Replace advice from appropriately qualified specialists
Privacy and Confidentiality
We take reasonable steps to protect client, stakeholder and employee information.
Personal, sensitive, confidential, commercially restricted or legally privileged information must not be entered into publicly available AI tools unless the system has been approved for that purpose and appropriate safeguards are in place. When considering AI tools, we assess matters such as data handling, security, privacy, access controls, contractual terms and suitability for the intended use.
Accuracy and Responsible Use
AI systems may produce information that is incomplete, inaccurate or outdated. Relevant outputs are therefore reviewed and, where appropriate, checked against reliable sources before use. We do not knowingly use AI to mislead, impersonate others, improperly disclose information or present synthetic content as an authentic record.
Governance
Responsibility for AI governance rests with the Director of Thrive Build Group or an appropriately delegated representative. Our approach to AI will continue to evolve in response to changes in technology, regulation, industry guidance and business requirements.
